An impressive circular building, painted in dark colours as is the wont. Inside has been a bit trendified but is still not bad, despite a horrible scaffold pole bar back. The circular bit round the bar has mostly high tables and stools, while at the rear is a large tabled room with a big garden area beyond. Fifteen high copper fonts carry a goodly range of craft from the likes of Park, Kernel and Siren, with minimal mainstream. A clutch of handpumps offered Sambrooks Junction and Pumphouse, not in the best condition. OK for craft drinkers.

A revamped pub on a corner site, décor is wooden tables and chairs, strings of lights, a big TV screen for football but at one end so not obtrusive when it isn't in use. Beers are Twickenham Grandstand, Spring Ale (tried and very pleasant, £4 a pint), and two other TfA on pump as well as a range of draft and in cans as is the current trend. Free wifi but sign-in is required. Site is accessible. Very much improved in its current incarnation the Norbiton (no longer "and Dragon") is in keeping with the trend in Kingston pubs that started with the Black Horse and the Albion.

This is another pub that seems to be mainly a Thai restaurant with a pub attached to it. The restaurant area at the back has all tables laid for diners of course, but looks to be a quite attractive room in which to house a restaurant. I didn’t look at the restaurant menu, but the bar snacks menu in the “pub” area offered stir fries at around £7 - £8, plus a handful of standard pub grub items for a similar price.
The place is as described by others, but I would emphasise the lack of traditional seating, as furnishings were almost entirely sofas, low tables and tall tables and tall stools. I struggled to find somewhere comfortable to sit, but that’s just me and maybe others like this sort of non-traditional seating. The restaurant looked comfortable though. There was only London Pride on when I visited, now up to £3.25 a pint.
I doubt whether I would pay a return visit here unless I wanted to eat in the Thai restaurant.

A large main room with a modern island bar which has a thick brass moulding running around the front edge of the counter and no bar back to speak of, just glass shelves. Stained wooden floorboards and mixed contemporary styles of seating. The front elevation of the pub is curved, so the seating here consists of opposite facing sofa/benches with low tables between, elsewhere there are high tables or in some cases rather undersized leather type armchairs. There are venetian blinds at the windows, and decor is generally light shades although there are areas of matt black wood. So traditional in style it most certainly is not. The overall feel is of a bright airy space, assisted by the large windows, but definitely not really "pubby". Two large flat screens, one each end of the curved main bar. There is a separate restaurant in a rear corner decorated in oriental style, and a decent sized rear garden with picnic tables. The Norbiton has been serving Thai food for around 20 years now, it still does but has also added a few other Eastern dishes from Indonesia and Malay. The food looks good value at between £5.50-£7.65 for mains and there is a Mon-Fri lunch menu at £4.95. English style bar food is also served and there are a few curry or stir-fry plus a pint deals advertised.
Four handpumps on the bar, in twos, both sets serving Pride and Old Speckled Hen. The Pride was fine (£3.20).
The pub isn't the type of place I would choose to spend much time in as I prefer a more traditional setting but it would be somewhere I'd drop by if I fancied a pint and a plate of noodles one lunchtime.
