ROB Camra left this review about The Horseshoe

Another Irish bar, Levenshulme is full of them. Two almost identical rooms with lots of Oirish tat around the walls. I really didn't take to this place. It was pretty full at 6 on a Friday evening, but it was full of people you wouldn't want to drink with, Dire.

A 2 roomed pub just off the main drag. The Vault and the lounge are pretty similar to each other with the lounge having a tiny stage at the rear. A slightly Irish tinge to the pub with some County Mayo bumpf dotted around. Friendly enough place but no real ale.

The Horseshoe is tucked away just off the A6 and the shops in the middle of levenshulme.
This was a proper old pub that had a couple of rooms inside i went in the bar and this was quite a nice room to have a drink in,this pub was a Wilsons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Wilsons bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Wilsons mild.
I quite liked this pub.
