Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Wheatsheaf Hotel (JD Wetherspoon)

Fine-looking old inn with a portico entrance, given the Wetherspoon treatment inside but not fully opened out so it's a maze of small seating / dining areas. Reasonable selection of real ales from six of the 11 handpumps, with Uttoxeter Buntings Blonde, Acorn's Kashmir and Beartown Kahuna available in addition to the usual trio of Doom Bar, Greene King IPA and Abbot.

This is a rambling old building that was originally a pub. It makes for a pleasant JDW split into rooms and areas with the bar over to the left. It retains an older appearance despite having ceiling lights.
The bar has two sets of hand pumps but three of these were unused and one had a cider. The six beers were the JDW Trio Of Doom, B&T Dragonslayer, Purple Moose Glaslyn and Tring Tea Kettle Stout. I had time to try the Stout and the Glaslyn both at £2.45 and both in excellent condition. Although it's on the expensive side for a Spoons in these parts I liked this one.

The Wheatsheaf is a Wetherspoons pub situated on Cheadles main shopping street.
Once inside the bar is on the left side, the area near the bar had tall tables and chairs, there are some larger areas to the right and rear which had normal tables and chairs.
I had a drink of Burton Bridge Stairway to Heaven which was quite a nice drink, the other beers i noted were Acorn 7 Seas,Alton Blonde and Adnams Broadside, plus the usuall Spoons regulars.
This used to be a pub before Spoons took it on which gives it more of a proper pub atmosphere than most Spoons i have been in.
