Will Larter left this review about The Hesketh

Formerly the Hesketh Tavern, it seems that the old name didn't go with the new, fashionable grey paint - or perhaps the other way round. Inside, by way of contrast, it's all brick pillars and Wedgwood blue. Some displays on the walls of letters and pictures that seem to have some connection with ships, but like the information about Richard Arkwright on display in a picture frame, I was unable to ascertain any connection to the area or the pub. Maybe I missed something, being distracted by the dreadfully bad background music. On the bar were three hand pumps with Landlord and Wainwright on. My half of Landlord was ok, but £4.80 a pint? They must be aiming to pay off the interior decoration consultant within the first two years of business.
