Komakino . left this review about The Brinsop Country Inn
Much iteration of their bistro and function room, and as WhatPub suggests, there's little external signage to indicate it partly operates as a pub. That said, the bar area is suitably "hotel bar" with seating more on the cosy side, with leather and upholstered sofas, bucket chairs and the odd taller cousin forming the hip-parking options opposite the bar. Three ales from four pumps - Moorhouse's Pride of Pendle, Thwaites Wainwright and Wychwood Hobgoblin with the Pendle in very good form and the offer of delivery to my table (served in a Moorhouse glass too, to boot). Country inn does indeed sum this place up, but the welcome was warm, so a down-the-middle '5' is only fair on this occasion.
