The New Inn is a U shaped local’s boozer with plasma screens throughout and a strict over 21s policy. Sky Sports is shown and there was a football league cup match on during my visit on Tuesday evening last week. There is a jukebox, which was off, and a dartboard can be found to the left of the bar. No darts on big match days though as a projector screen comes down over the board. Seating runs around the exterior walls and I found this pub to be reasonably comfortable. The service was friendly enough.
Standard draught is available and the two hand pumps were drawing Joseph Holt’s Bitter and Banks Brewery’s Flat Top.
This place is ok for watching a match, but I’m not sure I would venture in at any other time.
