This was the last pub of a recent midweek crawl of Ashton, and it was the most upmarket feeling pub of the day. In the front right is a seating room. The main bar area is L-shaped with seating across the front and up the right. At the rear is a pool table and table football. The bar counter supports keg options of Carling, two flavours of Strongbow, Brewdog Punk IPA, Beavertown Neck Oil, Birra Moretti, Veltins Pilsner and Guinness. There are also four hand pumps that were drawing Robinson’s Unicorn, Dizzy Blonde and Tom & Berry Festive Ale. I liked it in here and I’m glad it wasn’t the first pub I visited because that would have given me misguided hope of finding some decent pubs.

I assume this pub has also been done up since the last review. I may be wrong however. The Unicorn is still on and its not too bad a pub. Had a fella destroying a lot of songs but at least he was trying. In both senses.

This pub is dying on its feet. It's about time Robinson's either put it out of its misery or spent some money on it. The carpet is so worn that you can't even tell what the pattern was originally. Full of low lifes on my Friday early evening visit. A bunch of 14 year old kids playing on the pool table. There was only 1 beer on the bar which was Unicorn, my half was just about OK.

The Prince of Orange is a fairly large stand alone pub that backs onto the bus station.
Once inside there were a few different rooms with a smart comfy lounge and a large bar which was still a decent room.
The pub is a Robinsons tied house, there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Robinsons bitter which was a decent drink, the other beer was Robinsons mild.
I have had a drink in this pub on many occasions because of its location next to the bus station.
