Old Boots left this review about The Plough

Dining pub in an out of the way village although very close to Winchester so it’s poshish and priced for the area. An old village pub that has been modernised internally, the furniture is comfortable and of course mostly but not exclusively fine for dining, it includes some pews. Tasteful decor of prints, nic-nacs and the inevitable Readers Digest Condensed books. Very pleasant staff. Drinks wise although no longer a Wadworth’s house, the signage remains, it still serves a good pint of 6X, there’s also Henry’s and Horizon on the five pulls, no surprises in the keg choice with only Neck Oil being even remotely exotic.

Quinno _ left this review about The Plough

Multi roomed Wadworth pub with some basic rural ambience; third length wood panelling, carpet, low (gloomy) lighting and candles, various bits of agricultural implements. Nice enclosed garden across the car park. Four Waddies ales on; 6X, Bishops Tipple, IPA and Horizon (fair). Thumbs down on the lemonade from Desmond. Very, very expensive, £4.35 for a half of ale and a half of gun lemonade. This extends to the food also, nearly all starters began at 7 quid, I’d expect caviar for that price. I’ll leave this one to the dining classes and those with more money than sense.
