Nice enough locals boozer. The left end is painted plum with football on the TV, also a random Welsh dresser which was good to see. Fabric banquette bay window, next to the modern but attractive unused feature fireplace, made for the best seating. Naff chart hits being pumped out of the speakers put me off a bit. Four pumps with three on; Ringwood Best, Thwaites Wainwright and Marstons El Dorado (very good nick). WiFi available and noted as child friendly. A decent local, worth a nose if you’re nearby. 6.5

Decent beer, reasonable food, friendly staff - every village needs to have a pub like this.
