Old Boots left this review about White Horse

An olde worlde interior of old blackened beams, big fireplaces and exposed brick at the front is the remains of the original pub; at the rear a large extension in similar style is given over to dining, the extension is probably bigger than the original pub. The public and lounge bars still survive and the public has a dart board lurking in the corner alongside some nice cricketing prints. The lounge has some large and small tables and appears to be used as a dining overspill, the public had a good collection of locals. The staff are pleasant and attentive even though their time is taken up with food orders during meal times, a lesson for Wetherspoons in adequate staffing levels. The cask beer from Wadworths (6X), Hook Norton (Old Hooky) and Black Sheep (bitter) was in good condition but just a little chilly. The usual kegs, bottles and wines are also available of course.
