Moby Duck left this review about The Black Sheep

A decent looking pub on the outside but felt more of a cheap highstreet chain pub within and although not on a high street it is indeed a chain pub run by Craft Union. It was indeed also cheap with a pint of Sharps Atlantic setting me back all of 2 quid! Maybe that was a market day special but also a reason the pub was well attended on a Wednesday afternoon. Other beers available were Doom Bar, St Austell Tribute and Fullers London Pride, so pretty basic fayre. With three or four TVs on mute and rubbish music (to my ears) up a little loud this place is not really for me.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Black Sheep

Alehouse-style side-street pub, formerly known as the Royal Oak. Opened out inside to leave an overall 'L'-shape bar with a mix of furniture and a pool table at the far end. Live sports advertised on an 'A'-frame out in the Market Square, and three large TVs in use. Four of five handpumps in use, offering Young's Ordinary, Ringwood Fortyniner, Hobgoblin and Andwell King John (£3.80).
