Moby Duck left this review about The White Hart

The White Hart is an authentic olde worlde pub, Three separate drinking rooms but all joined by opened doorways (doors removed)to allow you to wander through from area to area unhindered. The room to the rear that seemed to be the locals public bar, featured a television,a few were watching the golf ,volume on but at a low level. The pub advertises the fact it shows sporting events and I noticed a rolled up screen in the front bar.The front bar's walls are adorned by many photos from the local rugby team covering several decades, also military regiment shields, possibly rugby related. Two sets of four hand pumps could be found ,one set in the small central room, the other set in the front, one set was a repeat of the other,so four beers which were Courage Best, Doom Bar ,Castle Rock Harvest Pale and Jennings High Spy. Unfortunately the two latter beers which of more interest to me ,the barman helpfully informed us were not at their best and offered a taster,we agreed and settled on a Courage shandy instead. This aside ,a pub certainly worth popping into.
