As Quinno says below, this Brewers Fayre is a rather drab establishment which probably relies mainly on paying guests who don’t want to venture into town for a beer. The majority of the ground floor is for diners, though there is a bar area at one side which includes a pool table, large TV and jukebox. The bar is comfy, but the brown furniture makes it dull. The staff are decent enough albeit a bit slow. There was one ale on, Doombar, which was in poor condition, way past its best. I wouldn’t rush back as there are better pubs within easy walking distance.

A large bar/eatery in the ground floor of the Premier Inn. Pretty cheap furnishings, straight out of the IKEA pine-by-numbers section. Place appeared to be little more than a crèche, with the under-10’s outnumbering the adults. Three ale pumps all off, although the clueless barmaid thought Spitfire was on (it wasn’t). I can’t imagine Lenny Henry bringing his kids in here and I certainly won’t be back. With the Wyke Down offering family-friendly surroundings and a much better experience, why would anyone bother with here? Utterly charmless.
