Impressively wonky building (1590s and a * CAMRA NI pub) owned by Wadworth. The bar area hasn't seen much change since the early 50s - open fire, pub carpet, island bar and all rather nice. There’s also a separate Jacobean oak-timbered dining room. GBG listed with three cask at the bar; the Waddies 6X was the best I've ever tasted, a revelation, (NBSS 4.5) whilst the Wye Valley Butty was also very good (3.5). Let-down by the continued presence of a loud barking twog, staff really should have had a quiet word with the owner and dispensed some advice. That aside, it was a very satisfying visit and one that I’d like to repeat.

Wadworth tied house near centre of Ledbury. Nice old building with central bar and restaurant to one side.

Enjoyed our visit to this 2018 Good Beer Guide pub yesterday. It is a lovely black and white half timbered hotel with a central bar facing the fireplace, with comfy seating areas and nooks and crannies around the bar area. Friendly staff and locals (including dogs). Wadworth pub with their IPA, 6X, and Dirty Rucker on plus Wye Valley Butty Bach. Think it is now just the Talbot Hotel.

A top 10 county pub, so sort out.

Fine old building. Small bar with Wadworths and a Wye Valley Butty Bach.

Nice sheltered courtyard around the back.

Decent enough boozer. Glad I came.

Lovely hotel bar, friendly bar staff. Nice and warm and cosy on a chilly March night. The food was delicious and filling. I had the shin of beef.

Four ales on, three Wadworth's - St George and the Dragon, IPA, 6X and Wye Valley Butty Bach. I sampled all of them. All very nice and well kept. My personal favourite was the St George.

This 400 year old Inn is definitely worth a visit. You step down into the premises from the pavement, where you enter a passage way. To the right of this, you will come across the Jacobean oak-timbered dining room, which is stunning. Take a left from the passage way and you enter the main bar and lounge. The central bar, offered a choice of four cask ales. Three from Wadworth, which are their regulars and the guest was Butty Bach. I went for the George and Dragon, which was in good nick.
