Will Larter left this review about The Pandy Inn

Apparently a 12th century inn, though how much of the original building is discernible is another matter. Certainly it looks like it's had many additions and alterations over the intervening period. Once inside there are stone floors and a mixture of styles to the walls, reflecting a desire to acknowledge the age and evolution of the building. The bar is against the front wall, with four hand pumps in two groups of two (see photos) and beers from Redemption and Grey Trees (a house beer) alongside the more predictable Doom Bar and Butty Bach. I went for the Pandy Ale which was surprisingly strong for a house beer at 4.7% (and rather stronger than I normally drink when cycling, but it had been a hard ride from Hereford into a constant breeze, and I was in need of some consolation and reward). A group of cyclists were occupying a table across from me - they looked a lot fitter than I felt - and there were a smattering of lunchtime diners too. According to my notes, the beer was "excellent"; in fact it was so good that I apparently pulled my notebook out again and used a different pen to make the note!

Lovely little village pub. Great apples; scrumptious looking menu. Proper grassy beer garden to the side.
