Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Beefeater The Stanborough
Just what you would expect from a Beefeater attached to a Premier Inn - a rather sterile bar / restaurant with the usual corporate furniture and decor in both parts. However, there is at least some patio seating out front and has two handpumps offering Doom Bar and London Pride.

No change from BF's visit over half a decade before. A Beefeater serving a next-door Premier Inn, so it's there as an accompanying restaurant and bar more than anything else. Just Sharp's Doom Bar and Fuller's London Pride on the lone two handpumps, although St Austell Proper Job was spotted in bottle form in one of the fridges behind the bar.

A formulaic modern Beefeater with a Premier Inn behind,the pub splits neatly into a table service restaurant to the left and a large lounge to the right with a long bar running along the rear wall.It's all neat and tidy but deeply uninspiring with modern furniture throughout ,menus on every table and a raised section to break up the monotony.A flat screen was tuned to Sky News with the volume off,while the inane muzak completed the sterile atmosphere.There are two handpumps with Hobgoblin and London Pride (£3,I've had better),the cask marque accreditation came as a surprise.
Functional if you want a drink,and probably popular because there are so few pubs in WGC but I can't see myself rushing back.
