Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Prince George

The brewer's Tudor exterior is now less obvious than it used to be, following the external repainting in grey. The slightly split-level, three-part, staple-shaped interior has been refurbished too. Quiet when I visited mid-afternoon on a Friday, unlike Dunning's next door. Tring's Side Pocket for a Toad (£4.40) available from one of the pair of handpumps.

Clive Thompson left this review about The Prince George

There have been further changes in the tenancy since my last review, but the name remains the same. George and Jodie took over prior to lockdown(s) and made a decent job of attracting clientele, although they never really got to grips with serving real ale. It is now being run by Sandra and her family/team and, although popular during semi-lockdowns, does not seem that busy except at weekends. Two handpumps, usually a Tring beer and/or Landlord, but if I'm honest there's not a great demand for ale from the customer base so I tend not to trust it. Closed on Mondays and doesn't open until 4pm Tue-Thu.

Clive Thompson left this review about The Sycamore

Another lot of new tenants arrived earlier this year and they have made a few positive changes. A bit of money has been spent, they have live sport, are now serving food and have achieved cask marque accreditation. The pub has now also been re-named (again) and is called the Prince George.

The Sycamore is a newly refurbished renamed pub and is family friendly with wifi music on at weekends a secluded beer garden for smokers and a small car park.

Clive Thompson left this review about The Champions Bar

When I first knew this pub it had the magnificent name of The Leviathan with an impressive pub sign to match. It then got sold to some philistines who took down the signage, replaced it with a tacky banner and renamed it Champions. Clearly they had no idea how to run a pub and it went down hill quickly. A new guv’nor arrived called John who instilled a bit of discipline, and a lot of professionalism, adding a couple of hand pumps along the way. He has now left but the pub continues to flourish and has recently been taken over by a young couple who are doing well. They serve a decent pint, with Hobgoblin and Spitfire being the regulars, and it’s a good place to watch sports or have a game of pool.
