Nice external appearance. Tidy insider. Setup for sports - with football, rugby and horse racing all on. At near enough the same time.

Only Doombar on - and as the Cask Marque accreditation was marked as "expired" I went for a stella.

The only thing I will remember of this place was every single man was wearing Ralph Lauren. Is there an outlet in Broxbourne?

The White Bear had a stint as the Anne of Cleves before reverting back to its original name a few years back. Haven’t been in for a long while but it seems to have had a recent modern makeover and is a bit cleaner and brighter than I remember it. There’s a small carpeted section then the inter connecting spaces with the bar are plain walled with modern pine wood floors. It’s still very much a local’s pub focussing on sport with the various flat screen tele’s around the bar area, and still very much a Spurs supporting pub (Broxbourne being on the train line into Tottenham Hale ). A couple of hand pumps on the bar with only the ubiquitous Doombar available but you get the impression they move more lager than Ale in here..
Posters for forthcoming Poker and music nights seem to indicate that its serving the local community well.
