Built on the side of a hill, the Queen has an entrance facing the station opposite, with a lower level behind including a beer garden. The interior has a slightly mundane hotel rather than pub-like feel, with a couple of large carpeted lounge rooms and a bar off to one side. There is also a small area with a pool table by the entrance. Beers on offer were Moorhouse's Blonde Witch, Timothy Taylor's Landlord and George Wright Blonde Moment. On the whole, the place is not unpleasant but lacking any real character.

The Queen Hotel is a stone built pub that is handily placed right outside Todmorden's train station.
Once inside there is a single irregular shaped room with the bar on the right side, the room is carpeted, the seating is comfy chairs and settees and some normal tables and chairs and some tall tables and chairs to the rear right, there is a raised area near the bar,the left side of the room is set aside for diners.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Empire Strikes Back which was a decent drink, the other beers were Taylor Landlord and Moorhouses Blonde Witch.
Background music was playing and food was about to be served.
I thought this was a very comfortable pub to have a drink in.

Directly outside the station. A large corner hotel/bar. A beer garden at the rear which was accessed by some stairs. 4 cask ales on with 2 from Timothy Taylor (Landlord and Ram Tam). A relaxing place.

Called in yesterday for a couple of pints and to sit in the suntrap of a beer garden. Very quiet inside, but quite a few people outside. All 4 handpumps on the go serving Timothy Taylor Boltmaker & Landlord, Moorhouses Blond Witch and Hart Mild. So a fairly mundane selection as usual apart from the mild. Both of my pint were in decent nick though and we spent a very pleasant hour basking in the warm sunshine.

Has been refurbished yet again since we last called in, that’s twice in the last couple of years. Now has a more open feel about it even though the layout hasn’t changed. It’s effectively one big room with a small raised seating area to the left as you enter and another larger area which is full of dining tables and chairs straight ahead. To the right is another large seating area with some high stools and tables and the bar. The bar has been opened up as well and the glass racks above it have gone. There are 4 handpumps with a pretty mainstream selection of Pedigree, Black Sheep bitter and something so uninteresting that I can’t remember what it was, plus St Austell Tribute. I had a pint of the Tribute which was pretty good and the other half assures me that the red wine was good as well. It’s getting back to where it was a few years ago, definitely on the up.

Called in on the 1st of March its handy for the station and that's it very quiet just the odd few in that's were it goes wrong when they open pubs up in side they all
look like peas in a drum there's got to be a good few in before there's a atmosphere
Will call back if its just to wait for the train
