A busy locals pub though far from a great one. But at least it does feel like a pub (although it was originally a converted bank), rather than a trendy bistro/bar/restaurant like most in Lancaster now. national brand real ales on offer as well as tedious small talk about Brexit from the old men at the bar.

Not a bad pub by any means though it is a bit bland. The single L-shaped room is pretty generic and it was fairly busy on my visit. 5 handpulls dispensed Tim Taylor Landlord, Bombardier, Spitfire and Doom Bore so it wasn't too inspiring. Hopefully the beer choice is better on other occasions.

A well supported corner street locals pub. The pub consisted of an L shaped room, with the bar facing you from the corner entrance. There 6 handpumps with three in use, offering up Copper Dragon, Cottage Brewery and one from the Old School brewery. The pub was quite dark inside and was fairly featureless, apart from one brightly painted feature wall, which looked a bit naff. The OSB Hopscotch was superb and the prices were cheap.

A tidy pub in the town centre with six handpulls on the go over Christmas - all in good nick, including a couple of Tirril beers. Clientele mainly local, with a couple of students. Nicely located in the heart of Lancaster's pedestrianised shopping area. Didn't feel the urge to stay beyond a couple though, but Lancaster does have a lot of good pubs!
