Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Greyhound

Known locally as the Dog, this is a community-run pub with a light and airy interior and a car park and outdoor patio area to the rear.

There weren't many customers in on my early Thursday evening visit, but the young barmaid was friendly enough. With a choice of 5 ales across the handpulls, I opted for a CLoudwater Dusk, which was sweet, but enjoyable. Other beers on were Bass, Marston's Old Empire, Pictish Lancashire Best Bitter & Moorhouse's Blond Witch.

This pub was the closest one to the guest house I was staying in and I was tempted to pop in for a nightcap on my way back there, especially as it was almost halfway up a hill from the town centre. However, I decided that having had a 17% beer in my final pub of the night, I wouldn't be able to taste anything weaker!

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Greyhound

Now a community owned pub, that is well supported and always has a good range of beers on pump. There were six ales on handpump on our visit, three from Moorhouse's, a Wainwright, Saltaire and a Beer Monkey's Bitter Revival from Skipton. I went for the Bitter Revival, which was an excellent choice.
This pub also used to have a micro brewery out the back named Barlick Brewery, but this beer is brewed elsewhere now and the pub features one of their beers at least once a week.
The interior to this pub was quite basic, but still retained a certain charm. The bar area could be found tucked away in the back right hand corner near the entrance to the patio garden. The pub also had a raised stage area in the main room, for weekend music and a pool room on the right of the main entrance. The staff were friendly and helpful when choosing a beer. This was a good pub to visit.
