Graham Coombs left this review about Toby Carvery Harlow

Modern carvery, handy for station, is usual mock-farmhouse style but seemed quite nicely looked after. Right hand side is the family dining area, with something more resembling a drinking area to the left, with a couple of TV screens. Draught beers were Doom Bar and London Pride but seemed fair enough and they had gone to the trouble of Cask Marque recognition, so ok for a pint on the way home. Enclosed garden area good for families.

A new build Toby Carvery, next door to a large Travelodge and close to Harlow Town station. On entering the wooden floored interior the "Wait to be seated " carvery section is to the right while the bar and nominal drinking sections are to the left, which is where I headed. There is a selection of high tables and chairs,a long bench seat and a further section on the way to the exit to the small paved garden. It's pretty souless ,the mindless muzak didn't help but the cask marque accreditation was deserved judging by a very decent Adnams Southwold Bitter, good value at £2.40 with the other two handpumps clipped with London Pride at £2.60.There is a short bar meal menu served around the bar, decent value as well with my roast pork and stuffing sandwich, roast pots and salad at £4.Mon-Sat carvery £6.29 but Sunday more expensive.
By Harlow standards quite a decent spot, but devoid of real pub atmosphere.Functional if dull.
