Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Eating House (Tunbridge Wells Hotel)

Upmarket hotel bar / restaurant with it's own entrance. Semi-traditional furniture and decor. Most tables set aside for dining, but there is a comfortable lounge area to one side and a few stools at the bar counter. Also has a patio area out on the high pavement of the Pantiles at the front. I wasn't really expecting to find a real ale, but Doom Bar (£3.80) is available from the solitary handpump.

Steve C left this review about The Pantiles Hotel

The bar area in the Pantiles Hotel is found to the left of the entrance where there is also a pool table and a plasma screen by the front window. The bar has a selection of standard draught and one of the two hand pumps was working to dispense Harveys Best. I found it all a little depressing and if I was staying in one of the £45 a night rooms I would drink elsewhere. I left after standing at the bar for nearly five minutes as the lone woman working behind the bar was clearing the café seating out the front. I wasn’t really that bothered though as this place didn’t endear itself to me.
