Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bridge Wardens

Basic 60s estate pub that has definitely seen better days, and with a 'To Let' sign outside you wonder how much longer it may last. Anyway, the decent-sized bar has a smattering of semi-modern furniture but almost nothing in the way of decor. The pool table seems to be the main feature of interest (albeit with children rather than paying customers), and there is also a dartboard in one corner. A sign on one door indicated the 'restaurant', but it isn't clear whether meals are still offered. Early on a fine summer evening, most of the adult punters were sat outside at the patio tables on the front terrace. No real ale of course, and about half of the limited range of keg taps were bagged over. 'Sadly' the John Smith's was one of the casualties but the Courage Best was just £2.50 and served in the right glass.

A large 1950s estate pub in a residential area, off the beaten track so mainly used by locals. It is entered through a perimeter strewn with the detritus of previous weeks' revels. It consists of a single large bar with a mix of tiled and carpeted flooring, gaming machines and an annoying jukebox. There is a games area with a laminated floor, dartboard, pool table and a tv screen for watching matches. It's family friendly and dog friendly. It's a lively local, the people are welcoming, but it has no real ale and I don't really have any reason to come back here.

Large estate pub. Management and staff very nice.
Exellent food (cooked by the landlord) served daily and at very reasonable prices.
