Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Swan

A slightly mixed prospect: it looks fairly traditional but has a modern sign which suggests a gastro-pub. However, as you enter, you find a rather plain bar (except at the far end where there is a very welcome open hearth on a cold winter night, framed by a fine pair of brass Walker fire extinguishers and a couple of leather sofas). Restaurant area in the rooms to the right. Patio tables to the front and a beer garden / smoking shelter to the rear. Background music at an almost subliminal level. Friendly staff. Three beers available from handpump: Broadside, Pride and Harveys (£3.30). Overall, worth a visit if in the area (and fairly close to Edenbridge railway station if waiting for a train).
