The Crown Inn is situated almost opposite the large church,i did'nt like the look of this pub from the outside as it had cream painted walls and a modern looking grey / green hanging sign.
Once inside i was surprised to find a proper drinkers pub,the bar was facing and there was a lino type floor,there was another area to the left which was down a step this had a pool table and some normal tables and chairs,the main drinking area had a real fire going and there was a crowd of locals propping the bar up.
There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Steaming Billy Rat Catcher which was'nt off but reminded me of doctors medicine,the other beer was Adnams Broadside.
This was a proper pub and i was happy enough having a drink in here.
