Alan Winfield left this review about Walkabout

The Walkabout is situated on the pedestrianised high street.
The pub has now lost its horrible green frontage and now looks more modern with glass windows facing the street.

Once inside there is a decent sized oblong shaped room which runs to the rear, the bar is on the left side, there are normal tables and chairs to the front and mid sized tables and chairs opposite the bar,the right side is raised, due to the hill the pub is on,the seating here comfy bench seating in bays.
To my surprise there was one real ale on the bar and one unclipped pump,i had a drink of Doom Bar which went down well.
There is a massive TV behind the bar which is made up with loads of other TVs but it shows one large picture, there are other smaller TVs,there is also an upstairs room which has more seating and a pool table.
There was a good mixed crowd of all ages in on my Saturday afternoon visit.
Food was being served.
This was a very pleasant surprise, nothing like the only other Walkabout i did in Nottingham.
