I recently discovered this pub on the way home from Swaffham. Bradenham is a little bit of the beaten track but it is definitely well worth a visit.

To be honest as i was traveling home on my own from my parents i would ordinarily never stopped anywhere after dark but nature dictated a brief stop. I was amazed at the discovery i made. The pubs car park is very light which meant i felt really safe. The inside is really nice, light, fresh and most importantly clean. I found myself feeling very at home and the owners are a lovely young couple who it turns out recently got married at the pub. I spent the rest of the evening at the Nelson and am desperate to visit next week.

A fantastic place for everybody and i would very much suggest it to anybody i meet. Sustainable for both groups and individuals alike.

I must admit that i do not usually bother commenting on pubs and bars, as a general rule if i like a pub i visit it; if i dislike a pub i don't.

I this rare occasion i felt that The Lord Nelson, Bradenham stood so far out from the crowd that i recently moved into the local area in order to be closer to my favorite little retreat.

As career businessman and company director i find that the best way of relieving the stresses of work is to find the prefect retreat and with out a doubt. The Lord Nelson has to be Shangri-La.

The Lord Nelson has been stunningly renovated into a stylish but classical feel with uninterrupted field views to the south of the building The atmosphere is lovely regardless of whether there are 2 people or 20. The owners are some of the most lovely and caring people you could meet who are always happy to talk to you or challenge you in a game or two.

No Stupid TV's ruining the atmosphere just a lovely light background music with the chatter of people talking, socializing and making new friends.

Yesterday i counted:
8 Draught Ales (All local breweries) & 9 Bottled
2 Draught Stout (Guinness and a local One) & Bottled Guinness
4 Draught Ciders, 10 Bottled & apparently a new warm cider for winter
They have so many different spirits its really got to be tried.

The kitchens are currently closed for a revamp and I can't wait until the restaurant opens in the next few weeks.

Oh and little tip try a short they make called Mouth Wash. It is an experience like you can't imagine.

I don't really know what else to say here but hopefully i will meet you all soon.

Lovely setting with great Buffys ale when available.

Bickering staff spoil it but then it is a large family run pub.

Good to kids and dogs too.

No food, music or tv so little atmosphere.
