Old Boots left this review about The Horsebreakers Arms

A single split level room with a small darts area to the back and an upstairs area closed on my visit. The walls are in a rough finish white washed plaster, the ceiling beams are black - some may be original, and it's carpeted throughout. Decorated with horse brasses, two prints of Victorian paintings and a beer mirror, there is also a big screen. Mainly furnished with tables & chairs with a few upholstered benches and bar stools. The left hand end has a raised floor as the building is built on a hill, the brick built counter is at the back of this raised area and there appears to be a pool room behind. Only a single t-bar with a selection of national kegs, John Smiths Smooth, Fosters, 1664 and wobbly Guinness. It is linked to the local caravan site which may explain the limited opening hours and indeed the atmosphere. Children welcome until 9:30 but not on bikes in car park or in the pool room (with or without bikes). There is a pleasant patio and lawned garden at the back.
