Blue Scrumpy left this review about Humber Dock Tavern

Now called either the Humber Dock Tavern or the Humber Dock Bar & Grill, the green tiling from its former name Green Bricks is still in place, making the place look quite attractive from the outside. It also appears to be located in a fairly trendy area opposite a harbour with some nice looking boats.

However, the inside is a bit of a tip. Furniture is a bit worn and the window to the gents toilets was smashed. The interior is large and sprawls its way along the bar into an adjacent premises.

Seemingly being a bit further away from wherever the local graduation ceremony had been taking place, there was only one graduate and her family here, until a second one who had also been in Furley & Co also appeared. The graduate herself was asking the barman if there were any jobs going. Nice to see the youngsters of today putting their studies to good use. Or perhaps, I am doing them a disservice. Maybe the degree was in pub management.

With Doom Bar off, the solitary real ale here was Atlantic. In the dead of winter, it really isn't worth crossing the busy A63 to reach this establishment. However, it may well be a more enticing prospect in warmer months.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Green Bricks

The original small pub with the eponymous facing (actually brick-shaped tiles) has been extended at some stage into the much larger corner premises next door. The old part was closed off for a function when I visited, but from a glimpse through the gap between the two counters I guess that it is probably as devoid of character as the main bar (with its dull semi-modern refurbishment). Unfortunately, just Doom Bar (£2.95) available from the three handpumps. Still, the outdoor seating area overlooking the Humber Dock marina is an undoubtedly pleasant spot in decent weather.

Massive pub with a very smart exterior. Once you enter it's all been ripped out so it's a bit like a barn. There are some tables on the marina, so it's nice place to sit outside when it's warm as it was on our recent visit. There were 2 handpulls badged up but only Courage Best was available. It was decent enough for one of the blandest beers in the country. Quite a few people were eating and it looked like they all had good portions. This pub really suffers when it's cold, wet and windy as nobody ventures this far away from town unless they're going to the nearby Minerva. The poor choice of beer won't be enticing me in again for a while either.

This was a good pub for a while with at least two Wold Top beers on tap. Went back recently to find that the real ale had gone, as had all the customers. Not worth a visit now.

What a fantastic Sunday Dinner we had today at The Green Bricks, The Place is coming alive again and the new mangers are great, The Sunday Lunch was like my mum use to make and not that frozen rubbish that some pubs serve. A place not to be missed if you want quality and great service

The green Bricks is a largish pub that i think has been extended from the original pub,it is in a prime location next to the marina area.
When i went in here the pub was very quiet and there was only one real ale on the bar which was Tetley Bitter,i have walked past this pub since then and it has been a lot bussier.
