The Corn Mill is a large roadside pub just up from the Mannor and looks pretty similar in size and shape from the outside. This is now under the ownership of Greene King and has their branding on its signs. When I First walked In here I thought I had been in before as it has a strikingly similar layout to the Beekeeper just up the road but my friend told me it was an entirely different pub. Much like the manor this is a very dining orientated pub and it did not have the traditional feel of the Manor and was a little more generic and chain like albeit in a modern and not a tacky way. The long bar runs down the center of the long pub with tables and chairs scattered all around plus some up a level ion the far left corner. The beer section was surprisingly good for a Greene King pub with Nottingham Brewery’s Rock Mild (3.10), Cock and Hoop and EPA, Moorhouses Summit Hoppy, Mighty moose EPA and Abbot. The Rock mild was really well kept and this made 2/2 pub in Toton were the beer was kept to very good level. We sat outside away from the hustle and bustle of the diners but I’m sure there is an area where you can drink and not have to eat but it was a nice night. Overall another decent pub with a better than average selection of ales at decent prices. It’s a shame Toton only has two pub because the ale drinekr can get a really nice drop around here and it’s a shame there aren’t anymore. I would call back if ever around the are again and the food to say its Greene king did not look half bad.

There's something vaguely Stepford about this large, single storey GK McPub parody. It is wholly contrived, a system for removing money from your pocket while appearing to deliver conviviality and second-rate beer. Five ales on, apparently, although I was told it would take 5 minutes to put them 'back on tap'. Eventually I obtained a pint of Nottingham Brewery's Bullion which the barmaid told me would 'crisp up in a few minutes' but which continued to taste insipid. Wifi is free but the signal was too weak to be useful. I went to take a feedback form, but the staff told me they would fill it in for me to save my time. A poor excuse for a 21st Century tavern, more American diner than British inn. No need to grind my way back here, I feel.

The Cornmill was built in the late 80s by kimberley brewery.
This is a large open plan food orientated pub that caters for family dining.
Going in here just for a drink is not really the norm but if you just want a drink its alright to do so.
The food is your normal pub type food that is served all day untill fairly late in the evening, there is also a childrens play area outside the pub.
