It’s in the bank is a medium sized bank conversion on Netherfield’s main high street. Don’t expect a pub in the same standard of The old Bank Of England on Fleet Street in the city of London this is very much a basic locals boozer on a pretty derelict high street with no other competition to make it up its game. II visited on a Wednesday evening and as you enter the main room is long and thin with the bar running down the right hand side of the wall. The room opens up a the bottom and has a larger seating/dancefloor area. The décor was very basic with all hard wood floors and plain tables. The pub was very busy with slightly less desirable middle aged drinkers and loads of scantily clad middle aged women dancing to terrible karaoke and singing even worse. The music was so loud it was really off putting and to make things worse it was standing room only and felt like I was trapped in the middle of a bad 80’s disco. I recall possibly a couple of hand pulls on the bar but there was definitely only one dispensing beer this was Adnams Broadside at £3. This was absolutely undrinkable, smelt like S**t (I think the glass had a lot to do with that and was beer was pure murk so was swiftly returned). What happened next astounded me, the landlord immediately took it back and accepted it was off (so the cheeky swine obviously knew it was no good) before proclaiming “ don’t worry I’ve got another one on the go downstairs” before retreating and putting in a fresh barrel. Not only did he not clean his line he just pulled through the beer and served it me, only it was a completely different beer (Wadworths Bishops Tipple) not that he was trying pull the wool over my eyes in that regard, rather he was just insinuating that I ordered cask ale, I must be ok with accepting any cask ale that he had to offer as cask ale drinkers will accept anything?? Regardless it was unsurprisingly awful, I took a few sips and just left never to return, Overcrowded, noisy pub/bar full of scrotes and terrible beer/awful cellar management and scruff. Don’t bother.

This pub is in the netherfield area of Carlton and was probably converted from a bank.
It is nothing special inside and seemed a bit run down to me there was no real ale on here just John Smiths smooth i had a Guinness and i would'nt come here again.
