This is a smallish bar attached to a large rambling restaurant on several levels, all part of the Premier Inn complex opposite Phoenix Park tram station. The bar itself is rectangular, modern and fairly featureless. There were a few in on my Friday evening visit. I've no idea how many were staying at the Premier Inn but they seemed happy enough.
There are two hand pumps which had Doom Bore turned and Sharp's Atlantic which was served in a bespoke glass that proclaimed it to be "an exceptional pale ale". Really? Did Donald Trump write that bit? To be fair to the pub it was in very good condition but that didn't stop it from being a quite pedestrian pale ale and I only had the one. If you're staying here as I was it's worth a 7 but otherwise I would struggle to give it a 5 as after all it is primarily there for residents.

The Millers barn is large Beefeater Pub/diner off the busy main road up from Cinderhill Roundabout. For all intense and purposes the main function of this place is to cater for the residents of the Premier Inn Next door and I assume these make up the lions share of its customers. Inside is very modern and generic with laminated wood floors throughout. There is a large dining area specifically for people wanting a meal at one side with the bar area on the right were food can also be ordered. The bar is on the left as you enter and is in the same laminated wood style as the rest of the surroundings but there was at least a decent amount of comfy bench style seating that I quite like. There was quite a few shiny keg taps on the bar from the usual suspects and San Miguel as well as two shiny new ale pumps dispensing Hobgoblin Gold and Doombar. The Hobgoblin was decnty and quite fresh but a little on the steep side at £3.45 but the keg selection was worse with the San Migel £4.05! There is almost nothing of any interest around here which makes it almost exclusively for the residents of the hotel which means they can charge inflated prices for their food and drink as being situated near a busy A road means there is no footfall to the pub. Overall a pretty standard glorified Hotel bar in a very basic chain style. I wold not rerun here for a drink but because it sells ale and keep it half decently it means if ever in the hotel nearby and not able to branch out further afield a nice pint van be had.

The Millers Barn is a largish modern pub that is on the phoenix park trading estate which is built on the site of the old babbington colliery.
This pub is a beefeater and is also joined onto a premier inn hotel where it gets a lot of its custom from.
Once inside the pub is open plan but has lots of different drinking areas and there is also a restaurant for diners only.
I went in the bar area which was quite comfortable, there were two handpumps on the bar and both had Shepherd Neame Spitfire on this was a very nice drink.
I thought this was a decent enough pub and it is handy for the tram which terminates here.
