Old Boots left this review about The Organ Grinder

Typical Blue Monkey ale house style pub, formerly the “Lord something” as the front tells us (Nelson according to WhatPub). Seven Blue Monkey beers on pulls plus a selection of well known kegs. Laminate rather than board floors, standard dark blue painted woodwork it’s a little tidier than some of their estate. Normal Covid rules well enforced with added temperature check, only my second in a pub.

in the space of a year Arnold is turning itself around with a spring of new establishments and refurbishments offering real ale. The Coffee grinder is the newest in blue monkeys Organ grinder pub chain. although branded as a coffee bar/pub i feel this is really only to appease the coffee drinkers as for all intense and purposes this is a real ale pub just like every other organ grinder, so don't be put off. this just has the bonus of selling good coffee as well.

The decore is really nice with half wood, half carpet floors which ads a very nice feel to the place. the is a mock open fire sadly not as grand as the real one in the canning circus organ grinder but still a nice touch. all round this pub is a very pleasant comfy place to be.

There were eight hand pulls all available on the bar with 7 from blue monkey and one from sharps doom bar but on inquiring about Doombar was told that it was not selling so was replaced by an eighth blue monkey beer. all blue monkey beers were either £3.00 or £3.10 so quite well priced. A string of landlords hasn't helped the beer quality however with personal experience seeing it range from excellent to dire and everywhere in between over a three year period.
This is such a welcomed feature to Arnold and along with the robin hood and little john are turning the towns pub scene around. I am optimistic about the future and hope this encourages other bad pubs in the area to up their game in order to compete (the old horse and jockey has already done this). When its good its very very good jut more consistency needed.

I'm sure this used to be a coffee shop only. Bar in the middle with a good selection of Monkey ales. However, only one rather weak pale ale was on offer, which was a shame. Still definitely worth a revisit.

Another respectable pub and one not to be missed when visiting Arnold. Six pumps in use on our visit, with five from Blue Monkey and one guest, which was from Dancing Duck. We went for the Blue Monkey Infinity, which was in excellent condition and definitely hit the spot.
This pub has some iconic primate related posters around the walls and the couple that caught my attention, the Monkey Magic poster from the 1980's Japanese TV series and Bill Oddie's Funky Gibbon.

This is a bit different as the pub doesn't open until 12:00 but the coffee side of it opens at 09:00. There doesn't seem to be any partition so presumably this means they don't sell alcohol until 12:00. It does retain a coffee shop style to an extent with some tall stools along a narrow shelf by one of the front windows. It's basically a modernised L shaped single room that on my visit was showing the six nations. There appeared to be some sort of garden at the rear.
I only counted seven hand pumps all of which had Blue Monkey beers. I went for the Infinity (£3.10) which was excellent. Well worth a visit.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Lord Nelson

The Lord Nelson is a typical town pub set in a row of shops.
This pub used to be an Home ales tied house selling cheap beer now it has no real on the bar so its a Guinness or fizzy beer.
