Big city sports pub focused on lager and football and cheap food rather than a quality pub. six ales are offered but these are repeated so only three ales to choose from and usually from larger macro brewers. On my visit Bombadier was the best option to choose from which say a lot about the other two beers but this was far too cold and not a very enjoyable drink. This place ism very popular pre and post forest matches and so can attract some unsavory characters. I shall not be visiting here again unless a change happens, something I cannot see in the near future.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bank

An unbranded M&B (Oak Tree) pub comprising a formulaic bank conversion with no sign of imagination - just standard corporate furniture and decor. Two banks of three handpumps, offering a duplicated selection of Bombardier, Broadside and Castle Rock Harvest Pale (£2.75). Serves its purpose well enough, I suppose, but very dull.

Always busy this pub, you only have to see why as it's in a prime location. It's the sort of place that likes to attract people for offers on their food menu. Two for the price of one and all that. There were three ales on handpump on our visit, Wells Bombardier, Everards Tiger and Trent Navigation IPA. The Navigation was in great nick. Only drawback here was the smell of the food everywhere.

The Bank is only a short walk from the Bell it has one large room that goes back quite a bit the bar is on the right as you enter it has two handpumps and these are at the far end of the bar they sell nothing special Greene King IPA, London Pride and Bombadier are the usuall suspects this pub is always very busy probably because its cheap. There tends to be alot of irish people in here,i only go in for a very quick pint.
