This GK / Hungry Horse outlet is located outside the main centre of Wantage and despite being set out over three levels is decked out in the usual decor you would associate with this chain, along with multiple meal deals. Roughly L-shaped internally with bar occupying the crook of the L, the main area is set put for dining with all tables containing menus with a raised area up towards the left. Down a few steps is a sports bar / games area where the tables contain drinks offers (Wine Wednesday, Shots & Bombs, etc.) along with a pool table and dartboard. Three ales on comprised GK IPA, Morland Original and Old Hoppy Hen (x2), the latter of which was £1.70 for a half and OK. Little frills here, but it ticks a few boxes and can at least wet your whistle here before heading into town.
