Komakino . left this review about The Plough Inn

A small freehouse just outside Wheatley village and near an Asda supermarket and The Bridge / Harvester on what was the old London Road. Light and bright internally (white walls, pine floor, white wooden bar) with an oblong-shaped dining area to the left, along with carvery servery (Sundays only) showing that they've jumped onto that particular bandwagon. Two raised tables and stools opposite the bar, and a small loungey-type room to the right with a couple of sofas and a large pine table with six chairs. Motown muzak played in the background at an unobtrusive level. Three ales were on - CW Bombardier Gold along with two locals in Chiltern Gold (good) and Shotover Prospect (excellent) both £1.95 a half. Pump clips behind the bar showed they keep it local, with almost the whole gamut of XT beers, along with a handful of their experimental Animal offshoot and a fair few from Rebellion over the border. The décor didn't really do it for me, but despite that I quite liked this one, and I'd definitely pop back in again, having made a mental note about the local beer policy...
