Alan Winfield left this review about The Duck On The Pond
The Duck on the Pond is a nice looking stone built pub.
There is no front door to this pub,so you have to use the entrance off the car park to the rear of the pub.
Once inside the bar was facing, this area had a shiny stone floor and this was the only area where normal drinkers could sit with a few normal tables and chairs, there was a large dining area to the left which was up a few steps, this area was carpeted and a smaller dining area to the right which was also carpeted.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Hook Norton Hookey bitter which was a very nice drink, the other beers were Wye Valley Butty Bach and Dorothy Goodbodys Golden Ale.
There was a nice paved area to the rear with tables and chairs and a larger garden further back which overlooked a duck pond.
THis pub was let down by the lack of seating for normal drinkers.
