Komakino . left this review about The Green Man

The small village of Mollington is easily whizzed past being located as it is just off the A423 road between Banbury and Southam, and with nothing to allude to The Green Man's presence from the main road, it is easily overlooked which could explain the erratic opening hours, limited drinking choices and 'front-room' feel to the place. I was the first and only customer upon my entrance at around half-seven on a Thursday evening, and Doom Bar on (the only) handpull and Hook Norton Haymaker in bottles appeared to be the only ale-related concessions. Although opened out, the interior seemed to naturally divide itself into two distinct areas and the area to the right of the small bar was unlit, seemingly in expectation of a low customer turnout. I learned from the landlord that the freehold is for sale; having been in residence for over thirty years he wants to retire, so if you're looking to 'tick' it off, it may be a case of seeking this one out while you can.
