Alan Winfield left this review about Prince Of Wales

The Prince of Wales is situated on the corner of a very busy road junction.
This pub used to be a Tetley tied house,it is now painted in battleship grey outside which is not a good thing to see.

Once inside the pub has been completly ruined, there is now a single room which is divided into lots of different areas.the bar is down a few steps from the entrance, the only real drinking area is opposite the bar, this is a narrow oblong shaped area which had posh looking tables and chairs, there is a small narrow area to the front with tables laid out, there is another area to the right with all tables laid out,the largest area is to the rear there is also an open kitchen to the right of this area, yet again all tables laid out here.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of York Terrier which was a decent drink but a bit pricy, probably to pay for the refurbishment of the pub,the other beers were Leeds Pale and St Austell Proper Job.
If you like pubs that have been done up to within an inch of their life, this one will be right up your street.
Not my type of pub at all.
