Changed dramatically since the last time I visited, although that was longer ago than I care to remember. Much extended, with numerous add-ons and extensions round the old building and a large conservatory at the back, with a positively huge garden behind equipped with posh furniture. Very much geared towards eating, with a tasteful dining room sort of decoration, but there are a few stools by the bar. Some good ales though, with Timothy Taylor's Golden Best, Andwell 5 Little Fishes, London Pride and Doom Bar on offer and in very good condition (Cask Marque accreditation).

Nice traditional pub out of the way. Excellent food, gastro pub.
