A smart modernisation of an old pub with a good deal of designer input to the furnishings and decor. A reasonable bar area at the front, a very smart laid-up restaurant in the middle and a tabled garden at the rear. Just Thurston's Gold on handpump but it was in very good condition. Perhaps a bit too much of an upmarket feel but very friendly and nice enough for a passing visit.

A bit of a strange place this one,it feels a bit like a very posh shed conversion,wooden flooring and the decor is rather low key and clinical,lots of tables and chairs as food is a big thing here but also a distinct drinking area around the bar with barstools.The service was very friendly.Three beers on Tribute and Pride along with a decent pint of Thurstons Horsell Gold. Not really my kind of place.

One of the best Gastro pubs in the region for food. Fresh ingredients and current flavours including lots of local food options. Good wine sellection, limited but ok beer selection.
