The Tilted Wig is L-shaped with a wooden floor and L-shaped bar counter across the rear that supports four hand pumps, two of which were in operation drawing Wye Valley’s HPA and good Bath Ales Gem. Premium and craft keg was also available from the friendly bar staff. The is a sunken seating are to the right of the entrance and on the right-hand wall is a large inglenook with log burner. More seating is found to the left rear and there was some background music playing the likes of Simon and Garfunkel. This is the sort of place I’d go with the wife for date night, read into that what you will.

Trendy arsed winebar-like place. Dark inside and modernish. The L-shaped bar has 6 handpulls but 3 were off and one was for cider. Not cheap and as a result it was empty, even on Saturday market day. Probably best to avoid.

This is set on Warwick's Market Place almost next door to the Wetherspoon. It was busy enough inside to force me to go to the seats on the pavement area outside. Inside it's Olde Worlde and food orientated which was successfully attracting the tourists.
I counted six hand pumps which had two unused and the rather dull choice of Sharp's Sea Fury & Doom Bore, Slaughterhouse Saddleback and Purity UBU. I went for the UBU which was in good nick but expensive at £3.90.
I didn't take to this place as it was touristy, too food orientated, expensive and had a very dull beer choice. I was quite relieved to make the short journey to the JDW. It's GBG 2018 listed.

Mid-range gastropub with a middle class crowd. Opened out and blandized inside, though the fake slab flooring is ok. Staple-shaped with olive green, mauve and cream shades. Some painted wood panelling and - oddly - gold painted stone walls. The large Inglenook fireplace now houses a wood burning stove. Arched, square hatched windows give a nice view over the pretty piazza which also has a fair amount of al fresco seating. Beer is the reason to pop in as there’s six pumps. Five ales on my visit; Doom Bar, GK Old Golden Hen, Slaughterhouse Saddleback, Jennings Snecklifter and Purity UBU (good form) with Old Rosie as the cider. Decent set of bottles in the fridge too. Plenty of staff but a pretty workshy bunch, too busy yapping amongst themselves. Decent enough place as part of a crawl. 6.5

We were also met by a friendly knowledgeable barman and our review is over three years later. The pub was very well kept and our Moorhouses Witch's Brew was in excellent condition. I thought the prices here were reasonable and there was a choice of five handpulled ales. The gold painted brickwork near the fireplace I was told, was a new added feature, which were originally in white. A decent pub and well worth a visit.

The Tilted Wig
A large facade made me fear that it would be a huge open plan modern pub. On entering you encounter a nice small bar and two areas of seating, one being big chunky wooden furniture and the other softer furnished seating. Its very light and airy and is modernly decorated with big printed wallpaper on one wall and the rest white paint.
We were met by a very friendly, knowledgeable young man, who clearly knew his stuff on the local ales. We enjoyed a welcome pint of Slaughterhouse Tilted Pig, in the sunshine outside in the old square, it felt very continental! A pub worth a visit.
This pub is about a 10 minute walk from Warwick Castle and approximately a 25 minute walk from the canal at bridge 50.

A Georgian style pub and B&B with patio in the Market Place, with some nice cartoon lawyers painted on the outside rendering.

The interior is an L shaped room bending around the bar. The decor is mainly white, with some wood panel, a bit of wallpaper, black paintwork and a stone chiney breast. It is quite 'foody' in its set-up, there was some wicker chairs and the place was rammed to the rafters on our visit due to the international rugby and football being on the Sky TVs. The service was fine, the clientele mixed, the art was a bit strange - artistic!

Beer; tap stuff, with St Austell Tribute and their own co-brewed (with Slaughterhouse Brewery), or fun titled, Tilted Pig, which was fine.

It was the number of people in here that made me sup and go, not the pub, so once i tried the 'Pig', I went
