Quinno _ left this review about MacKenzie's

Long and narrow modern bar. Light and bright with a big conservatory extension at the rear which effectively doubles the space. Décor choice of light wood trim, some exposed brick and neutral colours. Presumably aimed at the weekend crowd due to the lengthy bar, there’s no cask and a pretty mainstream selection of keg as well. My first choice of a half of Orchard Thieves cider hissed and died but the friendly young barman compensated with a pint of Inch's for no extra charge. I can appreciate what they're trying to do here and it's a fair venue; the excellent barman means I can give it a decent score on my own personal scale given the circumstances. 5.5

This is a modern pub/bar that is in the middle of the old town area and it was opened about 4 years ago.
Once inside here the bar is to the left and there is one room which goes back quite a bit,the seating is in the modern style with lots of light wood tables and chairs, this place was very popular with familys and yummy mummies.
There was no real ale on here the only bitter was Boddingtons smooth crap so i had a Guinness here.
This is'nt really my sort of pub.
