A GK locals' boozer just off Dunstable Road bordering on the unfriendly despite the politeness of a young barmaid. An L-shaper with a small room entered into with bar 'hatch' facing has a longer room accessed via an open doorway to the right with a larger bar counter immediately to the left, tall tables and seats, pool table to the back and modernish GK trappings. Sole real ale was GK IPA which I gave the swerve on and had an East Coast IPA. I can see why this was one of the Ampthill pubs without a review as it's instantly forgettable.
