I had failed to notice that this was a Lloyds but I saw no signs of it being one on my Thursday morning visit. What Pub have it listed as a Quiet pub and don't qualify the 22:00 curfew for children on Friday and Saturday.
It's a rectangular room with the bar to the right and a raised seating area to the left where there are some booths. It has better fixtures and fittings than average and a front patio. Sadly there were a couple of raucous brats using the place as a playground but they left soon after I arrived.
The bar has two sets of hand pumps, one with three which had two unused and Doom Bore. The other has five which had two unused and three available soon. There was no way I was going to drink the rubbish Doom Bore so I went for the Old Rosie (£2.69) which was on its last legs.
For a pub with eight hand pumps to just have Doom Bore on is pathetic beyond belief and must mean it's very badly run. The fact it's GBG 2017 listed just rubs salt in the wound so this one gets the Score Of Shame.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Blacksmith's Forge (Lloyds No1)

Large building, despite first appearances of the first room with a low ceiling by the main door. Main split-level seating area and bar more open. Semi-modern furniture and decor. Patio beer garden at the front. Eight handpumps, with a fair selection of real ales including a decent pint of Broughton Dark Dunter.
