A 1998 pub conversion, so the interior is a rambling pickle that wraps in and around itself via a central staircase and is fairly small. The rear area is a pleasant enough poke and there are some tables by the front windows which are also a good spot. Three guest cask, my Oakham 12 Monkeys was decent (NBSS 3) and staff were notably well-drilled and upbeat. A better Spoons.

Early start here for a group of us so pleasantly surprised how quickly 20 of us got seen to with a variety of breakfasts and drinks. As it was an early start with a long day to go round pubs near the river Avon, we didn't have a lot of beer, but did enjoy the Ilkley Rombald. Food was served quickly and plates removed afterwards quickly too, and we enjoyed our beer in the back patio area. Small it may be for JDW but a good one to visit.

This is a smaller Spoons housed in an original pub. Inside it's split into smaller areas rather than completely open room. The ceiling is low and there is a decent sized patio at the rear.
The bar has ten hand pumps which had the JDW Trio Of Doom, Titanic Stout and six festival beers. I tried the Mordue Wheat, Titanic Stout and Titanic Plum Porter all at the festival price of £2.15 and in good condition. I didn't have the problems with bar staff mentioned below on a busy Saturday afternoon but the tables were slow to be cleared.
I found this to be an above average Spoons.

The service was abysmal on our Friday morning visit, as there were two staff behind the bar fiddling with the coffee machine, whilst five of us were standing at the bar waiting to be served. We returned later in the day and still waited ages to get served. We eventually managed to get our choice of Three Castles Brewery Corn Dolly and have to say it was worth the wait.
The pub interior is compact with the small main bar on the right of entrance and the lounge area running along the front, down the side and returning back to the bar area. Quite an unpleasant experience when the pub is full of people eating as the ventilation is poor and the pub gets hot and stuffy.

The Olde Swanne Inne is a Wetherspoons that has got a bit more character to it because it used to be a pub,the pub has been opened out but there are still lots of different drinking areas,it was quite smart inside but very busy on my visit.
There was a decent choice of real ales on the bar and i had a drink of Adnams Broadside and this was a decent drink.
