A very Wetherspoonsy sort of Wethers. Your usual collection of ales, usual Wethers atmosphere, and usual decent but not world beating food. Comfortable enough to spend an hour or two in before getting the train.

Good selection of real ales but quality variable. I had a cloudy and off tasting pint last night and the barman refused to change it. I will be in no hurry to return.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Groves Company Inn (JD Wetherspoon)

Undistinguished 'spoons in a modern building with no points of interest (apart from 12 handpumps) that I could see... Usual suspects plus guest ales at £1.79, generally including at least one from the local Box Steam Brewery (e.g. a fine pint of the porter-ish Funnel Blower on my last visit).

One of the less attractive JDWs, in a modern, soulless building, but it fits in nicely with the other shops in this part of Swindon's town centre. The pub (and I use the term loosely) is busy yet has no real atmosphere. It consists of a single large bar, reminiscent of an airport lounge only dirtier. There is a small garden to the rear, but I couldn't get into it because of the number of smokers hogging it. Staff were friendly and efficient. There were seven beers on, I tried the Box Steam Brewery Tunnel Vision, which was fine if a little too cool. Worth including on a crawl or a quick pint pint in passing, but not somewhere to spend an evening.

This is one of the newer Wetherspoons in Swindon it has been open for about 3 years, it has one large room in the usuall Wetherspoons style not really to my likeing but at least you get a choice of real ales i car'nt remember what i had to drink here.

Single room Lloyds variant of JDW. Massive plate glass frontage makes it interesting for people watching. Ale range standard JDW and the inside is a bit soulless really
