A typical large shop-conversion 'Spoon's, which about sums it up. it does have quite a good range of beers, which is pretty unique for the town.

The Hatter’s Inn is a large open plan Wetherspoons (Lloyds No. 1 – What’s the difference?) in the centre of Bognor Regis. There were quite a few people taking advantage of the good value breakfast when I visited not long after 10am on Saturday morning. I went for a stomach lining large breakfast (2 of everything) that set me back £5. The food was delivered in good time, but the service at the bar was painfully slow. I’m uncertain why the lone barman felt it appropriate to stop for a conversation whilst four people were standing at the bar waiting to be served. Twelve hand pumps are supported alongside a standard and premium keg range.

This is a Lloyds No. 1 but as far as I could see is a standard Spoons dating from 1996. It's a converted supermarket and is a typical large barn which was busy on my late Saturday afternoon visit. Surprisingly it's in the 2015 GBG, but there was nothing wrong with the pint I had.
The bar had two banks of six hand pumps that included two unused, a cider, Irving Invincible, Goldmark IPA & Vertigo, GK Abbot & Ruddles, King Lost Kingdom, Welton Hops 'n' Heat, Adnam's Rogue Brutal IPA and a Langham beer. I went for the Lost Kingdom (£2.20) which was in good nick. I wasn't all that taken with this one but it might be OK at a quieter time.

I actually thought this was one of the better 'spoons (bearing in mind, of course, that I live in Yeovil with what must be the worst 'spoons in the UK so any other naturally seems better by comparison). Pleasantly furnished throughout I found it bright and airy - but then, the sun was burning down from clear skies on both the days we visited for breakfast this weekend. Usual suspects on offer at the pumps and the usual collection of 'coming soon' clips on the others - no surprise there then. I still think it's hard to beat the value and quality of Tim's Eggs Benedict for breakfast!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Hatter's Inn (JD Wetherspoon)

Uninspiring Lloyds No. 1 bar with a gloomy 'L'shaped bar - perhaps the best spot (when the sun's out) is the small patio beer garden to the rear. Four of the 12 handpumps were 'Available soon', and most the rest were usual suspects, but my pint of the local Arundel Trident was very good and splendid value at £2.15. (NB - Review dates from August 2011.)

Very dark and dingy Wetherspoon's that could do with a spruce up.Very poor selection of real ales on my visit.
