This is a medium sized Spoons set in a fairly modern red brick building. Inside it's a long room with the bar on the left and a patio at the rear. Furnishings are fairly typical but a big plus point is the fact that the toilets are at pub level. It was doing a fair trade on my early Tuesday afternoon visit which is hardly surprising given how few options there seem to be in this town.
The bar has two sets of five hand pumps which had the JDW Trio of Doom with Abbot and Doom Bore doubled up, Lymestone Stone The Crows doubled up, Black Hole Super Nova, Slater's Haka and Mr Grundy's Big Willie. Given I had plenty of time I tried the Stone The Crows, Super Nova & Haka (all £2.19) and all three were in first class condition. Some might say they were too cold but on a hot muggy day that was welcome.
I was glad I had time to have an extended stay here and enjoyed it a lot. It's one of the better Spoons despite there being no local opposition.

The Bradley Green is a typical Spoons situated on Biddulphs high street.
Once inside there is a long oblong shaped room running to the rear, the bar is to the front left.
The beer choice was slightly dissapointing for a Spoons,i had a drink of Ragby Conwy Rampart which was a decent drink, the other beers i noted were Beavertown Wojac,Adnams Broadside,Abbot and Ruddles best.
The rear of the pub has nice views of the Staffordshire moorlands.
The pub was very busy on my Saturday morning visit with a mixed crowd.

The Bradley Green is so called as that was one of Biddulph,s former names in the times of coal and iron. The exterior of this Wetherspoon sub is slightly drab but the mood somewhat improves when you step inside. The standard beer selection was on show plus a couple of festive casks, one of which was from the Jennings Brewery which was ok but nothing to write home about.
